CPI is run by a Governing Body, most of whom live with chronic pain. The Governing Body is responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of CPI. All are volunteers with a range of skills and expertise from financial, legal and business backgrounds.
A successful & accomplished Chief Executive/Managing Director. John has worked in both the private sector & the Public Health Sector. In the Public Health Sector he was Chief Executive Officer of organisations involved in the areas of physical, sensory & intellectual disability.
With over 15 years experience in Accounts and payroll in many varying industries, Martina has lived with chronic pain for over 30 years due to a birth defect and is no longer able to work.

Linda plays a significant role in the charity and brings a wealth of financial expertise having been employed in the financial sector for many years. Linda is currently working full-time for a well respected organisation as a Group Financial Advisor.
He also brings experience in fundraising, communications & board membership.
He has lived with the chronic pain condition New Daily Persistent Headache (NDPH) since 2008.
With a wealth of professional experience beginning in the fine arts, she has also worked within the insurance industry in various roles including professional development. Deirdre is a member of CPI since 2010 since receiving among others a diagnosis of fibromyalgia.
Working with CPI since 2008 with responsiblities including office management, support services, helpline and event management. She is also a Board Member of the Carmichael Centre for Voluntary Groups.
